EASTER TRAIL

Ladbroke Heritage EASTER TRAIL

Discover what happened at Easter and why we still celebrate it today.

Physical Trail, 10am - 4pm daily
Until Easter Monday (1st April) around Ladbroke
Tuesday 2nd April - Sunday 7th April in the church and churchyard

Pick up a leaflet in the church porch (or download below) and follow the instructions.
Each location has a display and more info about a part of the Easter story.
Suitable for all the family. Small Easter gift for those that visit each point.

Virtual Trail
Can't get to the physical trail?  You can "walk" it on-line wherever you at any time of day.

Photos of each display are below (click the first to see it larger and the caption and use the right arrow for the next one)

Use the downloads below for:

  • Trail leaflet with the map, a summary of each point the story and a simple activity or question, which is entirely optional.
  • Words from Scripture with more detail about what the bible says about each point depicted (these words are displayed at each location so no need to download if you are physically walking the trail).

At the last point on trail, GOD WITH US TODAY, you are invited to respond to the display about Psalm 23 in church.  At home you may like to

-  light a candle and ask Jesus, the Light of the World, to help you or someone you know who is going through difficult times

-  write or draw a thank you note to God for good things in your life

- make a sheep, or get the kids to make several, and to remember that God is like a good shepherd bringing his flock to good pasture and safe water (see final download for sheep making ideas)
