Ladbroke Church's family- friendly "Discover Fossils" is back !

Ladbroke was underwater 200 million years ago, so our fossils are of Jurassic marine life - ammonites, belemnites, brachiopods, crinoids etc. Our guide will introduce you to some of them, then discover more yourself in the walls and buttresses with a free leaflet.
The guided tour part takes 15-20 minutes but stay as long as you like carefully handing samples in the exhibition and seaching for more in the walls outside. Free Jurassic colouring sheets, wordsearch, folding booklets to make too.

On road parking only - please avoid the blind bends and park considerately so tractors can pass.

No need to book, just arrive a few minutes before 2pm or come and explore without a tour any time 1.30 - 4pm.

Our recent church repairs were helped by a major grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and this event is happening during National Lottery Open Week. So, as an extra thank you to Lottery players, if you show us your ticket (any date) we'll give you a free booklet about the stones of Ladbroke Church (or the Stained glass or Alice and the Adventurer).
